25시즌 종료 후 스쿠발과 디트로이트는 재계약에 난항을 겪었습니다.

디트는 19M을 제시했지만 32M을 원했던 스쿠발은 이를 거부하고 연봉조정절차를 신청했고

결국 연봉조정위원회에서 스쿠발의 손을 들어주면서 26시즌 스쿠발의 연봉은 32M이 되었고 연봉조정 최고 금액을 갱신하게 되었습니다.

이전 연봉조정 최고금액은 후안 소토가 양키스를 상대로 신청한 31M이었습니다.

올해도 건강하게 잘 던지면 스쿠발이 받게 될 FA금액이 얼마일런지 상상도 안되네요
